Apricot
– sour cherry
With annual
manufacturing of about 85.000 tons of apricot, Serbia
is also well known manufacturer of this quality fruit. Though a much
various sorts of apricots
the most dominant is the “Oblacinska” with more than 90% in production
.The major
manufacturing centeres produce it almost free of any possible
agro-protective treatments. “Oblacinska” apricot ripens at the end
of July. Fruit is a small sized, weights about 2.5-3 grams, oval shaped
with strong claret color. Its mellowness has sourish taste, it is claret
color and has fine aroma. It contents about 16%
of brix saccharn. Advantageously persistent on low temperatures
and adaptable for freezing and transportation.
